Koneenica celebrates Women’s Day with daughter

Actress Koneenica Banerjee has redefined mother-daughter bonding on International Women’s Day. Dressed in off-white and moss green coordinations, she did a photoshoot with her little daughter, Antahkarana.
While posting the photos on her social media, Koneenica wrote, “On the occasion of 'Women's Day's let's celebrate motherhood, not as a patriarchal oppression but as a liberation of self.The journey of the mother is not limited to the period before the birth of the child but the journey after the birth is equally important. It is a process of growth for the child as well as of the mother. This woman day we celebrate the journey of eminent film persona Koneenika Banerjee and her daughter. As the daughter plays the mother learns. In a park a mother running behind her daughter is a recurrent picture. We doubt whether she plays or she protects her daughter but deep inside we know it's both (sic).”
Throughout the lockdown, the actress spent quality time with her daughter. “My family has always been my priority. Even during the days of easy lockdown, when I saw my other friends stepping out for small gatherings, I avoided them because of my family. I waited till things started coming back to normal. I really cherished every moment I spent with my daughter,” she had told us earlier.
