Hansal Mehta and Anubhav Sinha’s hostage drama marks Zahan Kapoor’s debut in Indian cinema. After the release of an engrossing trailer, an exclusive special screening of Faraaz was hosted for the Kapoor clan recently and we have the unfiltered version of how the Kapoors reacted to this nail-biting thriller.
With an early review on social media, Faraaz is the film to watch out for.
However, an inside report states that Kareena Kapoor Khan, Neetu Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor,
Saif Ali Khan, father Kunal Kapoor, mother Sheena Sippy and others were left speechless as soon as the screen got dark. The Kapoor clan shed tears of joy seeing Zahan’s brilliant acting and also lauded Aditya Rawal’s brutal aggression and expressions in the film.
Hansal Mehta’s eagle eye direction made them forget that it was a film and took them inside the incident as if it were happening in real-time and kept them wondering what next? The Dhaka attack is a relatively raw incident and the story had to be told with sensitivity and absolute guts. Mehta has certainly mastered this art. Anubhav Sinha’s production has given the new-age talent the right direction as actors and the result is outstanding.
The film is directed by Hansal Mehta and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Anubhav Sinha, Sakshi Bhatt, Sahil Saigal, and Mazahir Mandsaurwala. The film is jointly produced by T-Series and Benaras Media works in association with Mahana Films. The film stars Zahan Kapoor, Aditya Rawal, Juhi Babbar, Aamir Ali, Sachin Lalwani, Pallak Lalwani, and Reshham Sahaani in the cast. Faraaz is all set to release on February 3rd, 2023.
