Orry has been keeping his fans on their toes with every new move he makes, and his latest surprise has been his debut as an actor. The social media sensation made his Bollywood entry with Nadaaniyan, a film starring
Ibrahim Ali Khan and
Khushi Kapoor. Although Orry’s role was brief, it left a lasting impression, and his guest appearance has been widely praised by the audience.
Reflecting on the attention his debut has brought, Orry shares, “It’s been magical how everything has changed for me! People treat me differently now. Those who never spoke to me before are reaching out, those who didn’t show me respect now have plenty of it, and people who never saw me as a threat (competitor) are starting to view me as one!” With such positive feedback, Orry, who has long been friends with actors, is now noticing a shift in their attitudes.
The film, which released on OTT, has opened up new opportunities for Orry, and he’s now hoping for a big-screen role in the future. About his experience working on Nadaaniyan, Orry recalls, “It was a bit traumatic. I had to drive to Pune, but the director was incredibly kind and made me feel safe throughout the journey. She helped me dive into my character, and we spent a lot of time understanding my character arc and what was expected of me in the film. Given the audience’s love for my role, it’s clear all the hard work paid off!”
This experience has fueled Orry’s interest in taking on more acting roles. He concludes with a grin, “I’ve always turned down acting jobs because it wasn’t something I saw myself doing, and it was never a dream or passion of mine. But after seeing how much the audience enjoyed my role and how much I loved seeing myself on screen, I have to say—beware!”
