Shocking news has just arrived as the popular Malayalam editor Nishad Yusuf was found dead in his apartment in Kochi. The ‘Kanguva’ editor was 43 years old.

According to Mathrubhumi, Nishad Yusuf was found dead in his apartment which is located in Panampilly Nagar in Kochi on Wednesday at 2 am. Reportedly Nishad’s body has now transferred to the general hospital. According to the reports, suicide is suspected.

Having worked mostly in the Malayalam film industry, Nishad had earned a reputation for his brilliant cuts in several movies including the Mammootty starrer ‘Unda’, Tovino’s ‘Thallumaala’ ‘One’ and the critically acclaimed Tharun Moorthy’s directorial ‘Saudi Vellakka’.
Nishad was also honored with the Kerala State Award for Best Editor for his work in the actioner ‘Thallumaala’ which turned out to be a super hit.

Meanwhile, Nishad Yusuf is the editor of the most awaited upcoming period action Tamil film ‘Kanguva’ which was set to hit the big screens on November 14. The news of his sudden demise, just days before the release of the Suriya and Bobby Deol starrer, has left everyone in shock.
