Vishnu Vishal's 'Kullanari Koottam' director back after 10 years

The titles of several Tamil films in past few years have been culled out from funny dialogues delivered by popular comedians or their names in the films in which their comedy track had become a hit. Now, the latest is an upcoming film titled 'Soona Paana', which is a famous character played by ace comedian Vadivelu in the 1998 movie 'Kannathal'.
Produced by Capture Media Creation, the film also has stars Appukutty, Chaams and Arul Doss among others.The team began shooting for the film in Dindugal on September 1. Actor Chaams shared a few pictures from the shooting spot on Day 1 of the shoot, which began after the approval for shooting from TN govt.

The film marks the returns of director Sri Balaji after 10 years. He had made his debut with Vishnu Vishal and Ramya Nambeesan starrer 'Kullanari Koottam', which also had Soori and Appukutty in important roles. Now, the director is next directing a movie which has been titled as 'Soona Paana' featuring debutant Nijay in the lead.
