South Indian Paneer Butter Masala Dosa is a filling and easy-to-make dish. Best served with coconut chutney and sambar, it is a gut-friendly dish that makes for a nutrient-rich option perfect for lunch and dinner too. Take a look at the simplest recipe.

2 tbsp butter, 1 cup paneer, salt to taste, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 2 tbsp coriander leaves, 1 tsp sambar powder, 1/2 tsp coriander seeds powder, 1 onion, 1 tsp mustard seeds, and 1 sprig curry leaves

1/2 cup urad dal, 1 tbsp fenugreek seeds, 1 cup rice, 1 cup parboiled rice, 2 tbsp flattened rice, water, 3 tbsp oil, and 2 tbsp ghee

Heat butter in a pan and add curry leaves, mustard seeds and onion. Saute.

Next, add the spices and cook for 4 minutes.

Add mashed paneer and cook for 3-5 minutes. Adjust salt and top it with coriander leaves.

Wash dal, rice, and fenugreek seeds. Soak them for 4-6 hours.

Blend them into a smooth batter and cover and let them batter ferment overnight.

Heat a dosa tawa, grease it well and pour the batter to form a dosa. Cook using enough oil.

Add the stuffing and fold. Serve hot with sambar and coconut chutney.
