NEW DELHI: Bowler Rusty Theron of the USA has accused Pakistani pacer Haris Rauf of tampering with the ball during Thursday's T20 World Cup play in Dallas.
Theron, who is not on the USA team, claimed that the ball was reversing because Rauf was dragging his thumbnails across it after two overs.
The 38-year-old seamer, who previously represented South Africa, also blasted the ICC for allegedly ignoring the incident.

"@ICC are we just going to pretend Pakistan aren't scratching the hell out of this freshly changed ball? Reversing the ball that's just been changed 2 overs ago?
"You can literally see Haris Rauf running his thumb nail over the ball at the top of his mark. @usacricket #PakvsUSA," Theron wrote on 'X'.

In the first upset of this T20 World Cup, co-hosts USA surprised Pakistan on Thursday by defeating the former champions in a Super Over.
Rauf, who gave up 37 runs in four overs, was Pakistan's most costly bowler.
