“What a way to get out of they’re offensive slump, held scoreless for 21 innings and scored 8 runs after the 4th inning. Great games from Fitzgerald, Bailey Flores, Lee and Yaz. Yaz with the walk off 2 run homer in Bottom of the 10th. Bullpen pitched 4.1 IP of no run. 7 Ks 1 BB. Way to pick up Verlander today. That’s what you do. 4-2 roadtrip. Avoided the sweep. Now take momentum into a 10 game road trip.”Another fan reacted:

“What a team this is!!!! We are having fun again.”Mike Yastrzemski’s star performance in the game
San Francisco Giants‘ outfielder Mike Yastrzemski became the star of the show, who managed to hit a dramatic two-run home run in the 10th inning to win the game by 8-6.
Yastrzemski had only one out and a runner on third base, so he swung in full force at the very first pitch, sending the ball over the right-field wall. The home run landed in the water just outside the stadium. It was an exciting finish to a tough, back-and-forth game.
