The perks of having dual citizenship. That’s what NHL legend Carey Price’s NHL WAG Angela Price enjoys. Angel Price is a dual citizen of the United States of America as well as Canada. In November 2024, the NHL WAG voted for Donald Trump in the United States of America, and now, in April 2025, she voted in Canada. Angela Price took to her Instagram to share an IG story wherein she clicked a photo of the lawn (post-voting) where she stood with her husband and captioned it, “we voted! my first time voting in 🇨🇦”.

In November 2024, when Carey Price’s wife, Angela Price, voted for Donald Trump, she shared her thoughts in a Q&A on Instagram. A question asked on Instagram was, “Are you actually going to vote for Donald Trump?” Angela Price wrote, “Already did.”
The NHL WAG further elaborated on that and wrote, “I have been very vocal about my support for (Robert F. Kennedy Jr.), left or right, he was going to get my vote. His dedication to improving healthcare aligns with my own values, as I believe, that our health is the most important issue. If we do not address the rising rates of chronic disease, everything else becomes insignificant. We owe it to our children to fight for this.
While I believe that Trump would be a strong leader for our country, I have also been impressed by Vance and his potential. As for the possibility of Kamala becoming the first female president, I have reservations.
I envision our first female president as a powerful, intelligent, and capable individual who will make a lasting impact. Unfortunately, I do not believe Kamala embodies these qualities.” (-via the Fox News)
Angela Price later posted a video on her IG story claiming that people have told her to "go to hell" for voting for Donald Trump. She shared in the video, "It’s frustrating when people feel like they have to unfollow or criticize me for voting for Trump. Are we so self-absorbed that we cannot accept differing opinions?
Embracing diverse perspectives is what will ultimately make us stronger. We must engage in respectful dialogue, challenge each other, and refrain from creating further division. It is easy to point fingers and blame the other side for being divisive, but we are all responsible for perpetuating this cycle." (-via the OutKick)
In 2023, Angela Price moved out of her Montreal home, and in 2025, she cast a vote as a Canadian citizen
On April 2, Carey Price’s wife, Angela Price was asked on IG’s monthly ask me anything, “Who are you voting for in the upcoming election?”
Angela Price responded, “the Canadian election is so different. I keep referencing my citizenship notes, haha, and trying to take in all the information as it happens so quick (compared to the US). So, still educating myself. But excited to cast my first vote in 🇨🇦”
On Easter Sunday, elections were held in Canada, starting on Friday, April 18. Angela Price voted for the first time in Canada. After celebrating Easter with her lovely family, Angela and Carey Price cast their votes. According to her website, ByAngelaPrice.com, Angela Price says, “I am from Washington State, but now spend most of my time in Canada.”
It was only in June 2023 when Carey Price’s NHL WAG, Angela Price, cut all ties with Montreal. Angela Price posted on her Instagram, “I don’t feel like it’s a goodbye to Montreal because we will be back so often, but I do feel like it’s a goodbye to our home and our neighborhood. There’s a lot of feelings and emotions, which I will go in to later, already cried on the plane, and we haven’t even taken off yet 🙈so I need to keep it pulled together for now. But our hearts will always be in Montreal 🤍” Carey Price and Angela Price shifted to their new home in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, and have been there since they left Montreal.
Carey Price has not played for the NHL for three seasons now because of knee injury. According to NHL.com, Carey Price has not officially retired. In May 2024, Carey Price acquired an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from the University of Northern British Columbia(UNBC).
