But Paul "Triple H" Levesque did the unthinkable and turned the beloved Cena heel at the WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 event.
After winning the Men's Elimination Chamber match and earning the right to challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE title at WrestleMania 41. John Cena is set to main event his last WrestleMania

John Cena is already months into his farewell tour that will culminate at the end of 2025. He competed in his last Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber matches. As a result of his Elimination Chamber victory, Cena will battle Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41. This will see him main event the last WrestleMania of his illustrious career.
However, Cena shocked the world with his actions at the WWE Elimination Chamber. After Cody Rhodes refused to accept The Rock's offer, The Final Boss signaled Cena, and he hit a low blow on Rhodes. This was followed by a hellious beatdown by him, The Rock, and popular American rapper Travis Scott. The trio left Cody in a pile of his own blood and had to be escorted by WWE officials from ringside.

Moreover, John Cena displayed his heel antics at the WWE Elimination Chamber Post-Show, too. He entered the conference room, sat, and dropped the microphone. Following that, Cena got up and left without saying a word. With Hustle, Loyalty and Respect no longer his mantra, it will be interesting to see the heel John Cena make his presence in WWE on the road to WrestleMania 41.
