The controversy arose when Chef Reichen shared the show’s promo on his Instagram, hinting at the similarities between his creation and Gaurav’s dish. In response, fellow contestant Rajiv Adatia came to Gaurav’s defense, emphasizing the distinction between imitation and inspiration. Rajiv highlighted that while Gaurav’s dessert bore resemblance to Chef Reichen’s, it incorporated unique elements and different ingredients. He stated, “It’s about taking inspiration and having your own take on it. The ingredients are also different. It’s about taking inspiration and having your own take on it. It’s not copied, it’s called taking an inspiration.He further says, “May it be Tejasswi, who has made some if the most outstanding dishes or Faisu or even myself, who couldn’t even prepare the food, have done so much on the show.
