Shobana's Navratri series is a joy for her fans

Actress Shobana has been very active on social media during the pandemic. The dancer has made it her platform for performance and the latest one is the Navratri series in which she shares a set of stories. According to her posts, all the ten days of Navratru, the actress would narrate a story related to the festival. Her fans are super excited about it. A recent video of her teaching ‘someone at home' had taken the social media by storm. Interestingly, the actor has not revealed her face which followed a lot of discussions. As per her followers, the cute video features Shobana and her daughter, Anantha Narayani as she has captioned it, 'The best thing about Covid is that someone at home is learning'. The comment box of the post is bombarded with love for the duo.The niece of the Travancore sisters – Lalitha, Padmini and Ragini – popular actors and dancers, Shobana, is an established Bharatanatyam dancer. She who was trained under dancers Chitra Visweswaran and Padma Subrahmanyam runs a dance school named Kalarpana in Chennai. She has worked with veterans like Zakir Hussain, Vikku Vinayakram and Mandolin Srinivas. She had choreographed Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for Mani Ratnam movie Raavan. She had also choreographed her timeless classic performance in Fasil’s Manichitrathazhu (1993) for the song Oru Murai Vanthu Parthaya along with dancer Sridhar. Her performance in English movie Dance Like a Man.Shobana’s latest Malayalam movie was Varane Avashyamund which featured actor Suresh Gopi along with her It was the directorial debut of Sathyan Anthikad’s son Anoop Sathyan.
