Everyone’s speculations were put to rest that the giant condor was in fact a character in another film. Organisers of the festival clarified in a statement to Variety that the birdman was in no way related to ‘Die, My Love’, but was a part of another documentary film from the Cannes Classics section titled ‘
I Love Peru’.
