These moments weren’t publicity stunts or film gimmicks, but they happened off-camera, when no one was acting.

During the shoot of the horror-comedy 'Stree' in Chanderi, Rajkummar Rao experienced something truly unsettling. According to a recently released book on Bollywood's paranormal encounters, the incident happened late at night, when a crew member took a group photo on set. When they checked the image, they noticed a blurry, human-like shadow standing behind them and yet no one had been there. The silhouette appeared to be watching the shoot from a nearby balcony. Even locals later claimed the spot had a reputation for strange activity, leaving the team deeply spooked.

While working on 'Aatma Feel It Around You,' Bipasha Basu and her crew encountered something inexplicable. Reportedly, during a silent moment of the shoot, they all heard what sounded like a woman humming nearby, but when they checked the recorded audio, nothing was there. The strangest part? A nearby picture frame fell down at that exact moment, even though there was no wind or movement. The cast was left shaken and believed something unseen was present on set with them.

On the set of 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,' Kartik Aaryan and the crew were filming inside an old graveyard in Kolkata. As a joke, someone used a ghost-detecting mobile app, which shockingly pointed out a spirit hovering near one of the graves. The app even named it “Thomas,” matching the name carved on the grave beside Kartik. Disturbed by the coincidence, the director chose to shift the scene to a different location. It was a prank gone wrong or maybe something more.

When he told hotel staff, they casually mentioned past guests had also complained of similar “experiences.” Varun eventually asked to switch rooms to avoid more sleepless nights.

During the intense shoot of 'Bajirao Mastani,' Ranveer Singh had a moment that still gives him chills. According to Deccan Chronicles, one evening, while on a break, he glanced at a wall and saw dust patterns that had formed the clear shape of Peshwa Bajirao, complete with turban and mustache. The image seemed to dissolve slowly before his eyes. Ranveer, deeply immersed in his role at the time, said he felt as if the warrior’s spirit was silently watching the film being made in his name.
