A heartwarming picture of
Preity Zinta and
Virat Kohli won hearts a few days ago, and many speculated that the cricketer might have been showing his children's pictures to the actress. Anyway, during a recent Q&A (question-and-answer) session on social media, Preity finally reacted to the buzz surrounding the viral picture.
Preity Zinta, who is also the co-owner of Punjab Kings, had an unexpected chat with fans on her X (formerly Twitter) account today (April 28). During the #PZChat session on her X account, she wrote, “Seems like the perfect day for an impromptu #PZChat! Any particular topics you would like to chat about, or should the chat focus on cricket since the IPL is on?”
Many of her fans had questions about Punjab Kings’ performance this season, and some asked her about her enduring passion for cricket.
A fan shared a picture of Preity and
Virat laughing together after the recent Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Punjab Kings match in Chandigarh. The fan asked what they were discussing in the picture, to which Preity responded, “We were showing each other pictures of our children and talking about them! Time does fly… When I first met Virat 18 years ago, he was a spirited teenager buzzing with talent and fire – today he still has that fire and is an icon and a very sweet and doting father.”
The picture was from the match where
Kohli earned the Player of the Match title, and Preity was smiling her heart out while looking at the mobile screen.

Recently, Preity praised the 14 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi on social media, “Wow !!! Vaibhav Suryavanshi. What an incredible talent 🔥 Such a thrill to watch a stunning 35 ball century by this 14year old. This year IPL is lit! The future of Indian cricket is bright. #Century #RRvGT #IPL2025 #VaibhavSooryavanshi."
