Aamir Khan and Karisma Kapoor’s 1996 blockbuster 'Raja Hindustani' became one of the most celebrated films in Bollywood. Aamir and Karisma’s sensational on-screen kiss became the talk of the town after the film’s release. Karisma once opened up about shooting the scene.Karisma about shooting the scene with AamirIn an old interview with Rajeev Masand, Karisma recalled the difficult conditions they endured to shoot the scene. “We went through gruelling circumstances. People say, ‘Oh, that kiss’ and all, but what we went through during that shoot for three days… In Ooty, in February… we were like, ‘Kab khatam ho raha hai yeh kiss scene?’” she shared.

She further explained how the weather made the shoot even more challenging: “It was freezing cold with storm, fans, and cold water. We worked in those conditions from 7 am till 6 in the evening, shivering away between takes. That was a different era of, I think, working under such circumstances.”Dharmesh Darshan about the sceneThe film’s director, Dharmesh Darshan, had previously revealed in an interview with Lehren Retro that Karisma’s mother, Babita Kapoor, was present throughout the three-day shoot of the intimate sequence.
