Rajinikanth's much-anticipated film 'Vettaiyan' hit theatres on October 10, 2024, and has made a substantial impact at the box office. In just five days, the film has grossed approximately Rs 110 crore across all languages in India.
According to trade analyst Sacnilk, 'Vettaiyan' earned around Rs 5.25 crore on its fifth day. The film recorded an overall Tamil occupancy of 22.58% on Monday, October 14, with varying attendance throughout the day: 15.70% in morning shows, 21.89% in the afternoon, and peaking at 26.38% during evening shows. The Telugu version saw an occupancy of 17.82%, while the Hindi version lagged at 8.30%.

The film bounced back slightly on Saturday with earnings of Rs 26.75 crore, reflecting an 11.46% growth, but fell again to Rs 22.3 crore on Sunday.
Despite these fluctuations, 'Vettaiyan' has maintained a solid overall performance and crossed the Rs 100 crore mark within just four days of its release.
The movie is available in multiple languages including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. 'Vettaiyan' has quickly become one of the major hits of the year.
