Rise early in the morning and perform a sacred bath. It is essential to clean the house especially your puja room, then take a wooden plank to place an idol of Lord Ganesha. Illuminate a diya with desi ghee in front of the idol and light incense sticks, presenting yellow flowers or a garland, and do not forget to offer Durva grass to the Lord.
