Nikki Tamboli has been part of several reality shows, including Bigg Boss in both Hindi and Marathi versions, and most recently secured the position of first runner-up on Celebrity Masterchef. Frequently seen outside the gym, the actress is known for her impressive physique. Nikki keeps herself in good shape with consistent workouts and a well-balanced diet. She recently posted a video on her YouTube channel, giving fans a glimpse into her full-day meal plan. (Photo: Instagram)
She started the video by sipping her favourite black coffee but with ghee. She revealed, "You all know I love coffee, I'm sipping this coffee and I've added ghee in this. I start my day with coffee and ghee because ghee is a good fat. I think starting your day with good fat helps to reduce the extra amount of fat from your body." (Photo: Instagram)
She further shares that she doesn't focus on weight training these days. In the morning her routine is to wake up, sip black coffee with ghee and then after 30 minutes, she hits the gym. She mostly does cardio for 30 minutes and then eats her breakfast after returning home. (Photo: Instagram)
Further in the video, Nikki gives a glimpse of her breakfast which she has after her workout. She has been having the same breakfast for the last 3-4 years. “I’ve been having the same breakfast for the past 3 to 4 years. It’s a healthy bowl filled with fruits, seeds, and dry fruits. My fruit salad usually has oats, apple, pomegranate seeds, banana, mango, almonds, and a few other things,” she shared. She also explained the health benefits of each ingredient in her bowl. Nikki mentioned that this has been her go-to breakfast for years, and even on days when she has early shoots, she packs the same meal in her tiffin. (Photo: Instagram)
During lunchtime, Nikki revealed that she enjoys eating with her mom whenever she’s not busy with shoots. She shared, "I would like to share that whenever I’m not shooting, I like to have lunch and dinner with my mom. Today in lunch we have mixed dal, egg bhurji with egg white, achar and roti made of Jowar. We prefer to eat jowar roti instead of wheat because it has high fiber, protein and it is gluten free. My mother has diabetes and we avoid wheat roti at home. Nobody has it. We have brown rice because it has less starch." (Photo: Instagram)
She further added, "After finishing the meal, we have dahi rice with tadka with white rice. It is good to have dahi (curd) in the afternoon as it keeps the body cool. I avoid having curd at night because I’ve Asthma.” She advises everyone to have curd in summer in the afternoon." Nikki mentioned that even if she’s shooting at a distant location, she makes sure her driver brings her a homemade lunch. She added that while the type of vegetables and dal usually varies, the rest of her meal stays pretty consistent. She also shared that her mom makes pickles made of raw mangoes in summer. Next in the video, Nikki shares that around 4:30 in the evening she has a glass full of green juice. She says, “It’s 4:30 and it is my routine to have a green juice everyday at this time. I have been having this for the past many years for a glowing skin.” She also revealed that she drinks 4-5 litres of water everyday as water intake is very essential. She has black coffee twice and two cups of green tea. She also has collagen. (Photo: Instagram)
Nikki ends the video by sharing details of her last meal of the day. She shares, "For dinner, I usually have grilled fish with sautéed veggies, brown rice, and a homemade sauce,” Nikki said. “This is my favourite place when I'm having my dinner. I try not to use my phone while eating—I prefer looking out the window and enjoying the view so I can really focus on my meal. It's not even 6:30, and I'm already having my dinner. When I'm at home I like to have dinner around this time but when I'm shooting it is not at all possible. It gets late and it is not always possible to get healthy food for dinner. I try to balance everything. It is better to have dinner before 7 and I don't have it post that time. If I'm out sometimes it gets late." (Photo: Instagram)
