Hyderabad airport police arrest man for duping woman with fake job promise in Muscat

Hyderabad: Rajiv Gandhi International Airport police have arrested a man who allegedly deceived a woman under the pretext of arranging a job visa to Muscat.The woman was detained by immigration officials after they found her documentation to be incomplete and her responses regarding the purpose of travel to be inconsistent. Upon further questioning, she revealed that she was from West Godavari district and had been contacted by a travel agent named Satyanarayana, who promised to help her secure employment in Muscat.Citing her passport had expired, Satyanarayana assured her that he would assist in obtaining a new one and in arranging all the necessary travel documents. The woman travelled by train to Hyderabad, where Satyanarayana received her. He reportedly instructed her to inform immigration officials that she was travelling as a tourist.Based on the information provided by the woman, the accused was traced and apprehended by the RGIA police. Authorities also revealed that Satyanarayana is involved in another ongoing case.
