Disproportionate assets case: Kerala CM’s chief principal secretary insulted high court in letter, alleges petitioner
Kottayam: Petitioner Jomon Puthenpurackal alleged that chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan's chief principal secretary KM Abraham insulted the high court in his letter to the CM in connection with the disproportionate assets case.
Speaking to reporters in Delhi on Sunday, Puthenpurackal said that in the letter to the CM, Abraham furnished false information about the court. Puthenpurackal said that Abraham alleged in the letter that Puthenpurackal filed a petition in a favourable bench and got a favourable verdict.
Abraham also said that the high court did not hear his part fully, Puthenpurackal said. So, he attempted to insult the High Court, which passed the verdict, by saying that the court passed the verdict without hearing his part fully, said Puthenpurackal. Puthenpurackal said that this is clear contempt of court and will file a petition in the high court against this.
