Operation Sindoor posers by Rahul childish: Praful Patel

Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) working president and Rajya Sabha MP Praful Patel on Thursday lashed out at Congress leaderRahul Gandhi for questioning India's response to the Pahalgam terror attack. He described the comments as "childish" and "deeply unfortunate," asserting that such statements weaken national morale."It is unfortunate that the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha made such immature statements. Such remarks don't harm Prime Minister Narendra Modi or the government—they only harm the Congress and Rahul Gandhi. The nation is united today, and all MPs stand with the government. At such a time, making low and petty remarks is regrettable," Patel said at a press briefing.Addressing Gandhi's insinuation that India informed Pakistan in advance about retaliatory action, Patel countered, "If we say we'll take revenge, does that mean we've given prior notice to the enemy? PM Modi and external affairs minister Jaishankar have already stated that India would respond to the Pahalgam terror attack—does this mean every detail was disclosed?"Urging introspection, he added, "When people across caste, class, and party lines are united to fight terrorism, the opposition leader makes irresponsible statements. Even Congress leaders must regret the kind of leadership they are dealing with."Patel also dismissed senior NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal's claim that his ministerial berth was secured through chief minister Devendra Fadnavis's recommendation. "We have ten ministers in the cabinet. The decision to induct Bhujbal was made solely by party president and deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar, Maharashtra president Sunil Tatkare, and me as working president. We do not appoint ministers based on lobbying or external recommendations," he clarified.
