Stephen Curry-led Golden State Warriors have officially made it to the Conference Semifinals after defeating the Houston Rockets 4-3 in the first round of Playoffs. The Warriors maintained their lead all throughout the game, even though it seemed like things could go in a different direction during the third quarter. But the team managed to keep the upper hand, coming out as the winners.

The Houston Rockets, the second seed in the Western Conference, faced off against the seventh seed,
Golden State Warriors, in seven thrilling matches during the first round of the Playoffs. And with all seven concluding, the Warriors have come out on top, winning the series 4-3. In the last game, the Warriors beat the Rockets 103-89, progressing to the Conference semifinals, where they will be facing off against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Stephen Curry scored 22 points, 7 assists, and 10 rebounds, while Buddy Hield became the top scorer of the night with 33 points, 3 assists, and 3 rebounds. The Warriors had initially led the series 3-1 before the Rockets pulled back up to tie it at 3-3, leading the two teams to fight it out till the end, where Curry's team beat the odds to progress to the next round.

The previous two games, before the winner was decided, saw the Warriors struggling a bit. Their energy seemed low, and however much they tried, things weren't going the way they wanted to. But according to
Steph Curry, he and his teammates blocked out all the negativity to give their best during the last game.
"A lot of resilience and everybody stepping up... Everybody's been talking about our team the last two games in terms of our execution, our energy, all that. We blocked it all out and just understood we had 48 minutes to dig deep. Everybody contributed. Buddy Hield was unbelievable."And it worked. They won the game by 14 points, leaving the Rockets heartbroken. They will next go up against the Timberwolves, with their first game set to take place on May 6 at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
