Despite being a free agent, Von Miller commits to 2025 season but admits Broncos reunion likely off the table

The Broncos, who once relied on his leadership and dominance, now boast a younger core of pass rushers. “They’ve got two really, really good rushers that are best in the league with Jonathon Cooper and Nik Bonitto,” Miller acknowledged. “And the guys underneath them… they come in and produce sacks, too. And they play special teams.”That last part is key. At 36, Miller openly admits that special teams isn't where he belongs anymore. “I’m not playing special teams, so that kind of makes the decision itself,” he said with a smile. “This year, probably not. The year after that, we’ll see what happens.”His comments leave the door open for a future reunion with the Broncos, even if this season may not be the right time. “I haven’t heard anything,” he said, “but… this year, it really doesn’t make sense.”Still, his deep connection to Denver hasn’t faded. On a recent visit for his nonprofit Von’s Vision—now 14 years strong—he helped distribute glasses to local kids, demonstrating his continued commitment to the community. “Driving by the stadium… it was incredible,” Miller reflected. “… It was all love and all respect.
