"Based on the investigation, we arrested five youths from Ariyalur district," said Salem district superintendent of police Gautam Goyal. The police have seized a motorcycle used by the youths. The two-wheeler has been submitted to court for further action.
The police summoned their parents and gave them suitable guidance. The youths were cautioned against engaging in such activities in the future. They were released on station bail in the evening.
The SP emphasized that operating a vehicle in a way that disrupted public order and traffic or recording videos inappropriately in public spaces constituted a crime.
