When she was asked about the couple she's hugely inspired by, she said in an interview with Shubhankar Mishra, "The couple I am extremely inspired by is Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli. I think the entire nation is inspired by them.”She further shared her opinion on the Virat-Avneet controversy. She said, "We are so jobless that we even know that his one like increased 2 million followers for the girl (Avneet Kaur). How does it matter? It’s so sad that it became a news.”Talking about Virat's clarification, Rakul said, "That is very personal decision. I think when you are a celebrity at Virat’s level, everything that you do comes under the scanner. Even if you follow a profile, it becomes news.”She was then asked if Virat's clarification was forced, Rakul said, "A person evolves and changes over time. He might be a rebel back then but now he is a changed man, maybe because he wants to change.
