Indian Idol 12 winner Pawandeep Rajan gets discharged from hospital; shares picture from the flight, writes 'going back home'

Pawandeep Rajan was involved in an accident on May 5. Since then, he's been admitted to the hospital and had several procedures. On May 30, the singer turned to Instagram, sharing a photo of himself smiling and informing fans that he had been discharged and would be returning home.He wrote, "Discharged and going back home Thank you everyone for all the support, blessings & prayers." Regarding the accident, as his team previously stated, "Pawandeep Rajan was involved in a tragic road accident on May 5th early morning near Moradabad, UP, while on his way to Delhi to catch a flight to Ahmedabad for an event." He was initially treated at a facility close by, but was later transferred to a larger hospital in Delhi NCR."At the time, his team released an update on his condition, noting that Pawandeep had suffered multiple severe fractures as well as a few smaller injuries and that he was taken into surgery after a battery of medical examinations. After a six-hour procedure, surgeons were able to treat several severe fractures.On May 9, his team yet again published a fresh statement updating about the Indian Idol 12 singer's surgeries and health. According to the statement, Pawandeep underwent 3 more surgeries and was later shifted to ICU for recovery.. His team shared another update, "Hi Everyone, Pawan underwent three more surgeries yesterday. Early in the morning, he was taken into the OT, and after eight long hours, all his remaining fractures were successfully operated on. Though he is still in the ICU under observation, he will remain there for a few more days. As the doctor rightly said, now the healing and recovery process has started. Let's just pray for his speedy recovery. Once again, thank you everyone for all the blessings and prayers."As Pawandeep began to recover, he sang songs in his melodious voice, which went viral. He even wrote, "Recovery mode on, thank you all for the prayers and blessings."
