Stray Kids member Felix has been suffering from back injuries that have been causing a lot of hindrances to his performances with the group. In order to provide fans with a great performance by putting his health on the line, the group’s management agency has announced that there will be changes made in Stray Kid’s choreography to accommodate Felix.
Stray Kids to change choreography for songs to better accommodate injured member Felix
For their latest ‘dominATE North America’ tour, Stray Kids will be making major changes to their choreographies on stage. Fellow member Felix, who has been suffering from back injuries, will not be able to perform the same choreographies properly, hence the reason for the sudden change, as per Soompi.
In their statement, the group’s management agency shared a statement on the matter to update fans about Felix’s health. They began their statement with, “For some time, Felix has been doing rehabilitation exercises and undergoing treatments for his back. While he has no major issues with daily activities, he has recently been experiencing pain when putting strain on his back. Therefore, he is currently receiving additional treatment.”
Choreographies to change after consulting with medical staff
The idol’s company also detailed how Felix had been undergoing treatment and how, after a long discussion with medical teams as well as Felix, the change in choreographies was introduced.
In their statement they continued, “After having thorough discussion between the artist, medical staff, and JYPE, we would like to inform you that the <dominATE NORTH AMERICA> tour will continue as planned, but certain performance moves may change according to the artist’s condition.”
“Please note that this decision was made following the medical staff’s recommendation to minimise strain on the back and the artist’s unwavering desire to be on stage, with careful consideration of all 8 members of Stray Kids,” they continued.
The sudden change has been announced in order to ensure that the K-Pop group’s North American tour can continue without any cancellations and to ensure that Stray Kids can give their best on stage while keeping their health in mind.
